Beni Mrirt rugs originate from the Middle Atlas mountains. Known as ‘the noble rugs,’ Mrirts boast a thick heavy pile, which is the result of the exceptionally high quality wool in the region (thinner longer strands of wool which enable finer knots packed on a vertical loom). Though related in appearance to Beni Ourain rugs, Mrirts rugs are superior. These premium rugs are the softest and most luxurious rugs of Morocco.
